Kern Riverboards NorCAL/Nevada Demo Tour

Kern Riverboards will be hanging out in the Lake Tahoe area for a couple weeks! Come and demo boards or take a riverboarding lesson!

We'll mostly be on the Truckee River near Lake Tahoe and also the Downtown Reno Whitewater Park.

Alex, are you able to drop-knee with fins on? Every time I try, going from kneeling, the drag from the fin I'm trying to pull around and up messes me up, it acts like an oar pushing me off the wave.

Ya you have to fully commit and do it really fast. Bring your front foot around the side of the board. It is easier with shorter fins (Churchill, Hydrotech). But now I can do it with my long Custom X fins.

Still can't really do any tricks or anything. I guess I will be practicing that on First Threat this winter.
