Hey Adam,

Nice video. What rivers do you mostly run with your Hydrospeed?

It seems the sport is very organised in your country.

Cheers,

Charl

Cau Adam, I wonder which rivers back home in Czech Rep would be suitable for sledging and even if there are some sections suitable for body boarding? I haven't been back home for a few years and I've done only a few rivers on canoy over there but can not remember any suitable places for sledging. There could be some when river is in higher flow or in flood. Also any good waves to play on. Those holes in Roudnice's channel are not that much fun. Would be great to know where to go for a play when me and my other czech friends (river boarding guides) come home for a visit and decide to go for a little play. Nice video by the way >=)

Cheers

  Pavel

Hi Charl,
Thank you very much for the compliment. The Czech Republic is a bad situation with river flows out of spring. So in summer we use artificial feeds.
Few people do this sport in the CZ. :-(

Cheers
Adam

Ahoj Pavle,

where are you guys located and where is the whitewater park in this video at?  My sister and her husband live in Prague and he has been boarding with me once.  I'm sure he would love to do it again over there.

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I am french established in Prague since few years and practiced bodyboarding in France and Portugal, but now only on the Sazava river :(  so I became the local curiosity of the fishermen.

I am looking for some guidance to practice on the rivers or canals in CZ. I tried to ask at the Prague Troja canal but it is not really allowed for bodyboarding (I guess, too risky to get a kayak in the head!). Do you know if it is possible to bodyboard at Roudnice nad Labem, are there any specific conditions, or booking needed? And maybe if you know if it is possible to rent an helmet and safty jaket (I have only bodyboard staff here)?

Otherwise I would be interested to meet some guys in CZ/Prague one day to take a beer and talk about bodyboarding/hydrospeed.

And thanks Pavel for the tips on the spots in CZ and Slovakia.

Arnaud
