Where do you snowboard at usually? I'm going to be tied up with riverboarding in Costa Rica, pet sitting, and airboarding through the first weekend of Feb., but I always like to get up to the Banner Elk/Boone area at least once a seson. Winter Boarding?-I'm down. Did some boarding in 50 degree water on Saturday and it wasn't too bad in the heavy suit.

Yeah, I wish I wouldn't have had to work last week when all the rain was falling, and this week is prepping for Costa Rica, so busy then too. I'll try to get up to Sugar or Hawksnest around mid-Feb. On that note, if you're up for a drive, we're doing an airboard race at Canaan Valley, WV on Feb 7th. Also, try to get up to WV in early spring as the water is huge.

Hello, great photo you and your daughter. Look forward to riverboarding again on the Ocoee. I did some additonal work on my riverboard and decided to abanodon the board or give it to Kevin Yount and see if it is a bad design or a bad operator. I must have 30 hours in that board.

Regarding Kevin and his trips - boy I wish I was in the position to go.

Doing the Upper on Sunday of Gauley Fest. I'm pushing for an morning start so we can do it and then get on the road. Thanks for coming out Saturday and helping out while I was getting my Asheville crew in the water.

Camping at the County Fairgrounds in Summersville. If we do the Saturday morning run b/f demos on the New, then you can shuttle with us. If we do an afternoon run, then you can hang out with us until then or jump on something else if anyone is going.

I am planning on it. I don't know if I'll run the upper or not yet. That's a longggg ride. I will defiantly hit the new and lower. What are your plans?

I might be ridding a raft down the upper with some friends from High Country.

Knoxville it is. I'm still living out of a suitcase during the week and going back to Chattanooga on the weekend. My whole summer has been a wash in regards to river running. I think we will be totally moved up here by early October. I can't wait to get back in the water! did you make Gauleyfest? I'll be i touch. there is so much water in reach from Knoxville, depending on rain, so I'm excited about the move.

Friday September 6 is the first release and Sunday October 16th is the last...I'm up for as much time on the Gauley as I can get this year, but that will depend on my work schedule -- I'm starting a new job on September 6th and don't know how that will affect my weekends.  Get ahold of me and we will figure it out, my phone number is the same.

Yes, the USNWC is allowing riverboarding on weekdays officially, and no one has stopped riverboarders from going on the weekends, though they are saying that.
