dude looks so fun!!! is that jetty where the wedge is? dude I am liking the looks of the kern board, might be exactly what would work for my bodyboarding inspired river style. I am gonna be in MT this winter, might stay out there for the summer if i can find some class V to guide. I would love to get up and run some rivers!!!

Brian- That jetty is 56th street Newport, and the Wedge is a few miles down the coast. I think the Wedge only works on a South swell (summertime).

Let me know if you ever come down to CA if you want to try out a board, I'll be living in Davis (norCal) till June, then back to Orange County for the summer.

I'm actually riding a normal Morey bodyboard without stringers.... not really a hardcore bodyboarder so it gets the job done.

Charl- the water was about 60 degrees Fahrenheit

I went longboarding at Blackies one year on Nov. 1 without a wetsuit. Stayed relatively warm for about an hour.
