Over a year ago, I tried getting dragged around on a bodyboard with my 3.4 Meter foil kite at the surf at Sunset Beach, which wasn't too thrilling, due to lack of power.
Since I went kitesurfing yesterday and had a personal photographer with me
(Dad!), I decided to try out my Kern Riverboard, this time with a full-size 12 Meter kite, in 20 mph winds.
Overall, it was a fun experience, but the riverboard doesn't have sharp enough rails to track upwind very well, so you have to walk back up the beach each time you go out. Might have to make a fiberglass board for this new sport!
