I think this would be a great competition to watch. There should be plenty of carnage. I will definately let you know when I plan on getting out. March is pretty well booked up but I'm starting to pencil in dates for April. I've got family obligatio…
The spring river season is quickly approaching. Anybody interested in making March/April plans? Actually my March is pretty well booked, but that shouldn't stop other people from making plans. I'm hoping to have an active April and get out on some r…
Bridget,
Please don't take this competition or Canyon Creek lightly. Experienced boaters have died on this river. If you are not an experienced riverboarder, this is definately not the creek to cut your teeth on. It is continuous Class 4 and 5, with…

has anyone run the Sandy River since Marmot Dam was removed? I'd like to run the Sandy River Gorge section this upcoming season, but I know this is a fairly hairy section, at least before the dam was removed. Anybody have more current info?
hhmmmm, that's really tempting, but its hard for me to commit right now and I'd hate to bail later on. I'll at least plan on logging some river miles before then. Anyone else?
Connects riverboarders in the Northwest, or anyone interested in running rivers in the Northwest, either on the river or off. Share beta, plan runs and longer trips, share shuttles or toss someone a throwbag if needed.

Yesterday from a forum (professorpaddle.com), when asked if Husum was clear. Next thing you know the beavers will start making a home there...
There are now 2 logs in there. It looks like the first log shifted to river right and then another log ca…
Hi Joe, I'm not *too* far away from Portland if you wanted to get a posse together to run something in southern WA ; in any case will see you at the Clackamas event!
I need to do some rafting trips this summer and see what is runnable. The rivers in Bellingham area get too log-jammed. I know there's more out toward Leavenworth.
If you're on the East Coast below the Mason Dixon line, close to it, or coming into the area to board, connect with other boarders. For riverboardering, airboarding at Canaan, and whatever else you do at face level. Mid-Atlantics are welcome too.
Welcome to Face Level Debbie,
Like you, I am never too comfortable kayaking as I don't have a bomb-proof roll. In an attempt to make my occasional swims less......exciting, I thought I should kayak with my wetsuit and swim fins on but unfortunately…
This is simply a gathering of riverboarders in the Southeast with some friendly competition thrown in.
We are keeping this on the down low and calling it a gathering instead of a competition for reasons that the put in and take out are on park land…
Hi Debbie,
Welcome to Team FLI! I am currently a rafter and riverboarder (I started as a raft guide, then got into kayaking, and have been riverboarding for the past 6 or so years). I used to kayak, teach kayak clinics, had 2 boats, and yes I had f…

Mr. Crazy Just comin off an epic AirBoard season!! Hey WhiteWater i been dreaming bout ya all winter!!! We need some more snow for LOCHSA!
Wow,
I can't believe you riverboard class 5! I just haven't progressed with whitewater paddling. I'm more comfortable out of my boat, swimming. Though, paddlers will tell you that swimming the river is the most dangerous position to be in.
This I…

Alex Koutzoukis riverboarded the North Fork American, Chamberlin Run today.
Hey Debbie,
I riverboard 90% of the time and kayak the other 10% (or less) nowadays, easy class IV (lower Kern River) is my limit on a kayak, whereas I feel pretty comfortable riverboarding class V rapids.
You will have a lot of fun riverboarding,…
Hi

Hang in there Rob! I know many people who are either in a similar position, or do not even have 1 job to go to. Whitewater season is around the corner. I hope you can find a few days to get your whitewater fix. I think that , no matter what position…
The economy hit and I lost my overtime. Had to take a second job at Home Depot. Working 40 at my fulltime and 35 at HD with 14 hours of travel to get there. I NEED A DAY OFF ON THE WATER!!!!!!! I would give my left @#$%* for a day on the water. Wor…
