"I hand paddle in short bursts and alternate between kicking and hand paddling on flatwater. I also riverboard without fins (so I can stand up surf)- thats when hand paddling is really useful."

I am very pleased to let you all know that the Fluid Anvil is now in production.

It will be available through Fluid Kayaks' Distribution network internationally (USA, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan). Pricing is likely to be very competitive with all the other Riverboard / Hydrospeed boards…

Hydrospeed in South Africa...

Posted on August 12, 2010 at 10:30am 3 Comments

This week has been an exciting one for me…

We have some friends and their families visiting here from France. I first met Raphael over the Internet about 7 or 8 years ago in his capacity as President of RIPH , the International Governing Body for the Sport of Hydrospeeding / Riverboarding, which I took up in 2001.

Raphael was tireless in the assistance he gave me to get started with a sport which, it turned out, I was the first person to…

Hi Charl,
Happy new year from Magali and me!
We are under the snow in Marseille ! The first time since 20 years! In consequence, it's the black out in the city since yesterday : no buses, no subway, the airport is closed and nobody works because the roads are closed !
(In Canada everything is OK with 2 meters of snow, but here with only 25 centimeters all is out!)
If everything is OK with the postal service, you will receive in 1 or 2 weeks a postal card from us for the happy new year.

Since our worldtrip comeback, Magali is in charge of the South Region of France for her job (microcredit for the small entrepreneuship). She works a lot.
For me, it's not so easy because I was obliged to stop my job in Corsica to join Magali in Marseille. I'm currently loooking for opportunities in Africa for a job as consultant in an NGO or something like that...but it's not so easy.

And you? Is Facelevel.com a professionnal activity or just a private hobby?

Kiss all the family for us.
Thibault & Magali.

But it's not updated since september....
Last week I meet in Marseille a guy that you meet in Corsica. He's name is Nicolas (nickname : Le Poulpe). He's a hydrospeeder from the Acquaviva team and he's just coming back from Népal.
