I was on the WRRR weekend outing on the Tieton last year.
(Washington Recreational River Runners. One active member lives down the hill from you in Lake Stevens.) An easy run but the surf wave at the bridge was in. This weekend I'm heading to the Clackamas festival. If I can't find anyone to take a run on Sat I'll be surfing Bob's hole, and there's a little boardercross competition on Sunday. Mem. day I'll be at the Wenatchee with Professorpaddle.com and two weeks after that back there again for the Wenatchee Raft games (standing wave event at Rodeo Hole, riverbooty.com). I have the events listed here under Events. I'd get a Kern or a Carlson. I have both and you can try them. Hydrospeeds are nice but you have to make them (Kevin Yount is making some one of these days). If the upper Stilly comes in that would be fun to hit, though I've never done it. Probably not up for the beating the Robe would dish out but you're also close to the Sauk; call me if you want to hit something. three six zero three nine three five three five five.
