Raw Rev continues their support of CORE Team FLI athletes and their endeavours

Face Level is proud to partner with Raw Revolution, and is stoked about their continued support of the CORE Team FLI athletes. Last winter they helped sponsor an expedition riverboarding trip in Costa Rica, where for the first week we basically lived off Raw Rev bars, and fresh coconut water.



We became saddened as our pile of bars, a festive mix of all the different flavors, soon became a pile of wrappers. Luckily we kept finding bars in the darndest places and it became a game

Costa Rica Riverboarding P.1

Friday began my adventure to Costa Rica. My friend’s band, Mozely Rose, was playing downtown Richmond and I really wanted to go see them play, but I was leaving for Costa Rica at 6am….from DC. Hmmm. I’m the type of person that likes to try to do everything I possibly can. If there’s a will, there’s a way right?

River, and Snow, and Kids, OH MY!

RIVER
I started "riverboarding" around 2001. It wasn't so much riverboarding, as it was go to Wal-Mart and find the funniest pool toy you can and take it down the river. I only recommend that for experienced whitewater folk though...those things POP and they're horrible in general! It was either a blow up whale, alligator, boogie board, or a customer PFD that we'd use to float on. It was surely a great time. Yes it would have been nice to have had wax at the start. It was really slow . If the temp would have been say around 15 - 20 it would have been twice as fast.
