I just went river boarding with Alex on the Lower Kern... I live in Venice Beach these days, but I'm originally from Chattanooga. I'll be back in Sept and plan on doing some boarding when I visit. Is the water still flowing back home?

The Ocoee and the Gauley will be the only things running in september and both will run into October. Actually the Pigeon will have it's last release on September 5th. As for September. I have a big run planned the 11th-13th that is going to be the biggest run of my life so far if it goes down, but I'm keeping my lips sealed on that b/c I still have to get park service permission and it will be water level dependent. I'll also be in WV for Gauley Fest the 19-21. As for late September and October, my personal schedule will just depend on work (yes this dirt bag pro riverboarder is taking a real job this off season ), but if I have some weekends off, then I'd be happy to board. We'll see.

Boarding the Pigeon on Tuesday August 11th, and the Ocoee on August 21st (Friday). I'm also taking a ton of friends for demos on the Nanty (just little Wesser Falls for friends and surfing if the NOC wave is sticky enough for tricks. I may also run Worser Wesser before it gets altered) on Saturday the 15th.

Ocoee trip on the 21st is canceled. Instead I'll be boarding the middle Ocoee with a guest from Indiana on Friday, Sept the 4th and also doing demos for the Outdoor Adventure Club of the South (Atlanta and Chattanooga chapters) on Sunday the 6th on the Olympic course. The day in between is up in the air. May have a Pigeon trip or might just hang out and ride the Ocoee if I don't have a trip.

I really really want to come to southeast U.S., but for now until the end of this year is very busy. and we need to find sponsors for our expedition team. because many rivers that have not been in indonesia we visit. One day we will be there with the team riverboard..
