Wow, from the photos, I'm counting 6-7 ledges in Royal Flush. Great job.

I read some kayaker's blog where he got trapped in one of those left hand undercuts, exited his boat but wasn't moving no matter how hard he pushed off the wall. Had to remove his PFD to get out; pretty quick thinking. Glad you guys made it through!

Nice shots man,

You guys happening to go to the Kern next weekend. I just moved out to Sothern Cal from West Virginia and hoping to get on the water again, last time was the gualey last fall. If you guys aren't available, is the lower easy enough to read and run other than Royal Flush or do I need to scout most things. Thanks for any help,

Hey Adam,

We won't be at the Kern this coming weekend, but I think I will be the following. Yea the lower is somewhat easy to read and run, but remember it is pretty solid class IV. Portage is obvious for sure.

Hey Alex,

Cool may give it a go this weekend since I can't next weekend do to work, and not sure when I can get out next. Will probably just try to tag along with whoever is out there just to make sure I know where to portage. Will try to meet up with you guys some time this summer.
