anybody tried thes shoulder straps? i ordered them a few months ago and still havent recieved them even after 4 emails to the elusive Josh. not even a peep back. id be happy if they were out of stock or something similar, but FLI cant even be bothered to reply to any emails.
anybody have a phone number for this place? or recomendations on what to do next?
apart from that, the board i recieved looks really cool, unfortunately i bought it on the worst drought since whenever and havent used it yet. looks cool in the corner of the room though lol

Dispute settled. i got a refund from paypal. still a bit anoyed with the complete lack of customer service. but thats life. looking forward to using the Anvil soon!!!
Hi Alicia its just the ones for 19.95 when you buy a board from them. i got a refund today, so im going to have to find another source for straps. im sure theyl be easy to find, straps like that are available for lots of different hobbies where youve to carry something.
Permalink Reply by Josh Galt on August 2, 2012 at 2:05pm Hey Kevin sorry for the lack of response, I had to change servers for the hosting the facelevel.com site was on, and email has been problematic on and off recently. I responded to any emails regarding the straps as soon as I saw them, but unfortunately if you emailed I didn't receive any of those until the paypal one, and you were refunded immediately.
Josh
yes thank you for the response via paypal. sorry you had trouble with the servers. still, the anvil is a great product and i cant wait to use it.
i did think the complete lack of response was strange, thanks for explaining what happened.
Permalink Reply by Josh Galt on August 4, 2012 at 2:43am Yeah really sorry man! That's one of the reasons I was changing servers, I was having problems with the site being down and emails being down. Should be better now, thanks for understanding. And hopefully the straps will come in.
You could also talk to a Fluid kayak dealer that has the Do It Now whitewater sit-on-top, since the straps are the same as the leg straps. They might have some extras to sell. You can then add your own carabiners and away you go.
Pictured below is with the straps threaded through since I didn't have carabiners at the time - but you could do the same thing and just clip them on with biners.
