The competition is simple: you and your r iverboarding buddies board as many runs as you can endure for 32 days and, to give your paddling purpose, the challenge involves raising fun ds for young adults with cancer. At the end of the event, the team in each division with the most vertical feet is crowned champion.\n\n* Th e Vertical Challenge opens at sunrise May 15 and closes\nsunset June 1 5.\n* Open to all paddlers (kayakers, rafters, canoers,\nriverboarders ), from all countries, of all skill levels.\n* Compete for prizes in o ne of six divisions (Open, Class V,\nClass IV, Class III, Weekend Warr ior, Womens) that best\nmatch your team's skill level.\n* Donations ra ised go to First Descents a kayaking camp for\nyoung adults with cance r.\n\nThis competition is open to international competitors. In order to compete you must first complete this form for each run you wish to include.\n\n\n\nFU NDRAISER\nEddyFlower has partnered with First Descents to raise money for a great cause. What better reason to riverboard when every kick yo u make raises money for young adults with cancer! First Descents offer s young adults with cancer outdoor experiences that will forever chang e their lives. The 2007 & 2008 EddyFlower Vertical Challenge compe titors raised over $34,000 and sent 35 youth to kayak camp.\n\nThe goa l is for each member on each team to raise as many donations as possib le during the event for First Descents.
