Swim Team of Placentia (STOP) senior girls experienced riverboarding for the first time this Father's Day weekend. Coach Devon Ames brought 10 of his senior, 15-18year old girl swimmers to the Kern for a day of riverboarding.

What a great experience for all involved: I had the time of my life teaching the most fit, strong, prepared, tough group of newbies I have ever met; Coach Devon and the girls had a team and confidence-building, exciting day on the beautiful Kern!

North Fork American (Chamberlains section) class 4 or Slab creek (upstream of Chili Bar). This is very rare that this section is running. I would love to try it. Anybody else done this section before? Heard it is a class 4-4+ section.
